The refurbishment of The Golden Lion is progressing well. This week, we’ve installed the new windows and French doors, sandblasted the beams and walls, and cleared out the kitchen.
We also had two successful volunteer clear-up sessions, both inside and outside. We removed the ceilings, cleared away the sand from the blasting, and prepared the rear of the car park for solar panel installation and the tree surgeons’ work next week. More internal clearing is scheduled for Monday. A big thank you to everyone who pitched in this week!
While we’ve made great progress, there’s still plenty to do, and we need additional funds to complete the work. To help with this, the Share Offer has been extended until 20th December 2024. If you haven’t yet purchased shares or would like to increase your investment, now is a great time to do so.
